Upcoming Library Performances

The Spirituals Choir is bringing its unique blend of history and song to three island libraries this summer.

Our first library appearance is at the Chilmark library on Wednesday, June 24, at 5 pm.

On Wednesday, July 8, we’ll be at the West Tisbury library, starting at 6:30 pm.

And at the end of July — July 30 at 6:30 pm — we’ll be making our first-ever appearance at the Oak Bluffs library as part of its OB Live Music Series.

These presentations are all free and open to people of all ages. Questions and comments are more than welcome. We hope to see you at one or more of these events.

Jim, I have been absent because I am running back and forth to Bethesda to babysit my four year old granddaughter and my daughter who is midst a disastrous divorce. I will be here til June first then to Greece and back mid July, I hope. I will try to stop by for rehearsal just to hear some good music.

AoTHER SUBJECT I hear you have some broken pipes courtesy the lousy winter. I think we live not to far away, and P eter and I check on houses of friends and cousins when the temperature really takes a dive in the winter. We would be happy to add your name to the list of folks we check summer houses for. Or, you give us a call when you think something in your house needs a look-see. Annu
